On Thursday, I discovered a fantastic article, "No-pet Evacuation Rules Putting Lives at Risk," on ABC News. I think this information is directly related to my purpose for this blog. It was certainly informative. Although I had hoped, I never realized that after Hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans in 2005 our U.S. House of Representatives actually passed the Pets Evacuation and Transportation Standards Act. I shout, "Bravo!" Now, other countries are attempting to create and pass similar legislation. Please read:
